In 2009, the company "A&R" introduced a technology for producing Damascus steel, known under the brand name Zladinox (ZLAtoust+Damast+INOXidable). This technology allows you to obtain metal compositions of various compositions.

A&R company has introduced alphanumeric indexing for the designation of compositions, where the letters indicate belonging to the Zladinox brand, and the numbers indicate the average content of carbon and alloying elements, for example, ZD-0801, ZD-0803, ZDI-1016, ZDI-1416, ZDI-0225, ZDI-E, ZlaTi, etc. All composite steels and alloys have the highest technological, operational and decorative properties.

Diffusion (forging) welding of metals is performed using its own unique technology that ensures high quality of welding, absence of defects, and optimal properties of the finished material. The use of steels with a carbon content of more than 1.5% in blade compositions allows achieving high cutting properties noted by many knife manufacturers. Using the technology of manual forging of blanks gives the pattern a "lively" character, uniqueness. Zladinox technology allows you to change the composition of compositions within a wide range (compositions with a carbon content in a high-carbon layer of 1.6; 1.8 and even 2.9%), the number of layers (150, 300, 600 and more) and the pattern depending on the tasks.
