On April 10, 2018, American film actor, film producer, screenwriter and Director Steven Seagal received a special gift for his 66th birthday. Zlatoust arms Company "A&R" and Batzaya Baasandorj, the owner of the Mongolian brand "TAVAN NUDEN", presented the star of fighters kukri, made by his special order.

The famous film actor has long dreamed of a spectacular and powerful kukri. Armourers and blacksmiths have made for the master of martial arts an exclusive kukri in the style of "ZLADINOX" from their advanced materials: the blade – weather-resistant Damascus ZDI – 1016, the back and guard-titanium Damascus ZlaTi.

The front side of the blade is engraved with hieroglyphs-the initials of the actor.

According to the drawing, which was developed by Steven Seagal himself, increased the size of the blade (up to 300 mm) and the handle (up to 150 mm), the shape of the kukri is the closest to the traditional weapons of Nepalese warriors.

Kukri has a unique design that provides its outstanding properties, which have come down to our time from the XIV-XV centuries almost unchanged. The kukri was part of the invincible Gurkha armament and was used in close combat, as well as replacing a machete, a sapper's spade, a cleaver, etc.

The curved blade, which resembles the shape of a Falcon's wing, is sharpened on the inside. An impressive knife with a huge blade of variable width, with a butt thickness of 6 mm. The rigidity of the blade in the narrow first half is further enhanced by two lobes. The blade has a variable sharpening angle. The sharper angle of the reverse-lenticular descents of the first two-thirds of the blade allows not only to cut, but also to cut. The third blade closest to the tip, which has a greater angle of almost straight descents, can be cut like an axe. The center of gravity of the blade is shifted closer to the edge of the blade due to its variable width, which contributes to effective slashing blows. The ergonomic handle is perfect for a large hand.
