ZLADINOX trademark

In 2009 A&R implemented damask steel technology known under trademark ZLADINOX (ZLAtoust+Damast+INOXidable). That technology allows making metal composition of various content.

In the course of the years of ZLADINOX technology development the carbon and weather-resistant steel line production was adjusted as well as compositions based on titanium and copper alloys. A&R implemented alphanumeric notation where letters mean brand ZLADINOX, and numeric characters define average content of carbon and alloying elements as in the example: ZD-0801, ZD-0803, ZDI-1016, ZDI-1416, ZDI-0225, ZDI-E, ZlaTi etc. All composite steel and alloys have the highest technological, operational, and decorative properties.

Diffused (hammer) welding of metals per in-house unique technology provides high welding quality, zero defects, and the best properties of the finished material. 

Using steel with more than 1.5% of carbon content in the compositions for sword blades allows achieving high cutting properties noticed by many knives manufacturers. Applying of blanks in blacksmithing technology gives a «lively» nature and uniqueness. ZLADINOX technique allows varying composition content in wide range (compositions with carbon content in high-carbon layer of 1,6; 1,8, and even 2,9%), number of layers (150, 300, 600 and more) and the pattern depending on the assigned tasks.  

At present, ZLADINOX, being one of the world's leaders in damask steel production, has gained wide recognition among both Russian and foreign manufacturers. Zladinox trademark is a permanent participant of specific Russian and International shows.
